Excavate (verb):
- To make a hole or channel by digging.
- To remove matter carefully and systematically from an area in order to find buried remains.
- To expose to view by, or as if by, digging away a covering.
I strongly believe that the excavation that starts with each woman and/or mother, has the power to excavate families, communities, states, countries, and the world. When mothers find peace within themselves, they are able to fully connect and attune to their children. This level of connection provides protection and resilience in each child while breaking generational trauma cycles. Now more than ever, it is necessary for us to recognize and break the generational cycles that perpetuate trauma, violence, fear, hate, shame, and lack of self-worth. And it starts with YOU, Mama. When we heal ourselves, we heal the world.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Wisconsin and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am also in the process of applying to become a Board Certified Coach (BCC).
My work with The Excavation Project, LLC is dedicated to empowering women who identify as mothers, professionals, and/or leaders by guiding them through their "self excavation," or returning to their true, authentic self so that they can show up with purpose and presence to thrive in every area of their life rather than simply surviving each day. The end result often involves a stronger sense of self and self-worth, a sense of work/family/continued education/social/self-care balance, clarity around life purpose and goals, less anxiety or worry, less irritability, less perfection-driven tendencies, improved quality in all relationships including, (especially) and FIRST with self.
I provide individual and group coaching from an integrative approach, including concepts from Systems and Attachment Theories, Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Theory, and Narrative Theory, via video sessions, to those of any geographical location. I will also be offering more structured options for online courses in combination with group coaching for using the healing power of connection in the "Excavation Project" of helping women to reconnect with their authentic, worthy selves while also connecting with others.
